Tour of Homes 2008

The Greenfield Historical Society Tour of Homes, 2008.

Tour goers had the opportunity to stop at the Grain and Hay and have the famous Baked Steak dinner before starting the tour.

Maggie Mitchell and her mother Marilyn greet people at the start of the tour at the Delbert and Marilyn Mitchell home, built in 1926.

These goodies aren't just for show. Home owners even offer a treat besides opening their homes to people.

Sharon Hall points out the original mirror still in the Waddell home that was built in 1911. Sharon and Lavar Hall are only the 3rd owners.

Dan Long greets people in the Longs' expanded kitchen. Since it was the anniversary of Pearl Harbor Day, Susan Long paid tribute to her parents and their military service with a patriotic theme.

The home of Jim and Merleen Van Dyke greeted people with a dining room table ready for Christmas dinner.

The Stone School House was a stop on the tour to give people a chance to see the renovation. A small display was set up with old books and writing instruments.
