Ghost Walk 2012

The Greenfield Historical Society Annual Ghost Walk. "Ghosts" from Greenfield's past told their story in the Old Burying Ground behind Travellers Rest.


Kay Scheeler and Judy Schmidt served during the hot dog supper before the walk.

James Patterson was portrayed by Bob Judkins. Patterson was a member of a long line of Pattersons in Highland County. His father was a Revolutionary War soldier. He died in an accident and his wife died several years later leaving several young children to be raised by family members.

Actors in the Ghost Walk included; (l-r), Nick Cunningham, Jerry Parker, Natalie Cunningham, Roxanne Judkins, Robert Judkins, Nathan Franz, Terry Washburn and Eric Salyers. Not in the picture was Aiden Salyers.

Terry Washburn was Joshua Merrill, a native of New Hampshire, who as a young man, came to Ohio, was a soldier in the War of 1812 and brought his large family to Greenfield.
